A responsive WordPress website for Fresco, an Italian restaurant in Vienna. The menu is mostly Italian, with a handful of Middle Eastern dishes.
02 / The challenge
Fresco needed a site that reads as Italian at first glance and works on any screen. A guest should find the menu and book a table without hunting. The layout also had to hold large food photography and a full menu without crowding the page.
03 / The solution
I designed and built the site in WordPress. Editorial typography sits on warm neutral tones, and red marks every call to action. I put the food photography at the center of each page.
The site covers a homepage, an introduction to the restaurant, a categorized menu, a photo gallery, contact and location details, and a dedicated reservation page. I adapted each layout for desktop, tablet, and phone.
04 / The result
Guests browse the menu by category, book a table in a few taps, and pull up the address on their phone. Fresco got a site that sells the food and gets people to a reserved table.
