The challenge

mdm Autoteile needed an identity that could hold up across very different surfaces — outdoor storefront signage, employee workwear, business cards, and advertising — and stay legible on both light and dark backgrounds.

The solution

I designed a bold wordmark with a compact custom letterform for "mdm" paired with the "autoteile" descriptor in a contrasting weight. Red, black, and white gives the system high visibility at distance and works on both light and dark backgrounds. I applied the identity to storefront signage, business cards, workwear, and promotional materials.

The result

mdm Autoteile has a consistent identity from the shop front to the staff uniform. The wordmark reads at distance, the color system works across formats, and the brand is straightforward to apply to new materials.
